Ok, so let’s talk about the speciality snacks in Pandora. For those of you who are unfamiliar, Pandora is a land built in Animal Kingdom based on the Avatar movie. It is, in my opinion one of the most magical places Disney have created to date as it is so uniquely themed. I will write a full review on Pandora, but for now we’re just talking about two of the speciality snacks everyone keeps raving about; the Night Blossom drink and Pongu Lumpia.

As of September 2019 both of these offerings can be found at Pongu Pongu snack shack and they qualify as one snack credit each.

Top Tip; With any novelty item that we try, me and my family like to grab one to share so we all get a taste of the themed treat without having to use up too many snack credits, or risk not liking something – you can always go back after your taste test and get one to yourself if you really love it!

The Night Blossom

Price – $7.99 +VAT

This garish coloured drink is a blast of green, purple and orange – in my opinion it’s one of the most exciting looking drinks I’ve sampled at Disney. With stripes of limeade, apple and pear in beautiful layers, this icey drink is the perfect refreshing beverage on hot park day. The collection of fun passion fruit bubbles on top give this drink a little extra sparkle. It’s a sweet treat but some of the more tart flavours mean this drink remains refreshing on a hot park day.

The Night Blossom can also be spiked with a cheeky shot of rum, though unfortunately, this does not qualify as a snack credit.

For me, this is definitely one to put on your Disney food bucket list!

Pongu Lumpia

Price – $3.29 + VAT

This is a bizarre snack which shouldn’t work but it does. This crispy, sweet spring roll is stuffed with cream cheese and pineapple – weird right? But it actually tastes pretty good! It’s a great snack and it’s not too sweet thanks to the cream cheese. The down side to this snack is the size, for a snack credit you get one spring roll and for America who largely have a go hard or go home attitude, they’re pretty small so you don’t get much bang for your buck. However, it is a fun novelty snack to try and if you’re on the dining plan it’s definitely worth a snack credit.

So, there’s my verdict on the snacks Pandora’s Pongu Pongu has to offer. I hope this quick posts helps you formulate your Disney must-eats! If you liked this post and want to see something similar, check out my Incredibles snack review here! More to come soon, so stay tuned!
